Dorignac’s is looking for qualified people who want to be part of the long-standing customer service oriented history of this iconic New Orleans grocery store!  Please complete an application to begin the process. Our store is open from 7:00am-9:00pm.  Applications may be completed at the store or dropped off any time during those hours.

All applicants must be able to pass background checks including drug and alcohol screens.

 

We are currently filling the below position:

  

 

SEAFOOD CLERK (Part-time)

Our biggest need is the closing shift; however, flexibility to work the opening shift is a plus when needed.  We prefer someone who has experience working with food and is familiar with food safety rules.  You must have excellent customer service skills.  Hours needed as of now are Saturday, Sunday, Monday and Tuesday from Noon – 7:00pm.  Availability to work other days/hours is a PLUS!

 

 

ASSISTANT STORE MANAGER

Must have prior experience managing staff in a grocery store environment, preferably an independent grocery.  Must be able to work very flexible schedules including weekends, holidays, early mornings, nights.

 

 

FLORAL DESIGNER (Full-time)

Experience designing, making corsages, etc.  able to work any hours between 7:00am-9:00pm with most work needed until 6:00pm.  Must be able to work Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.  A license is not necessary.

 

 

STORE PORTER (Full-time)

Cleaning store bathrooms, cleaning break room, general cleanup around the store, emptying trash cans, may assist with unloading trucks, may assist with work in various departments around the store.

 

 

PRODUCE CLERK (Full-time)

Prior experience stocking produce strongly preferred.  Open availability needed.

 

 

COOK (Full-time)

Must have experience in large batch commercial/instructional cooking.  Must be able to follow recipes and cook from scratch.  Able to work evenings until approximately 7:00 – 800pm.

 

 

DELI SLICER (Full-time)

Will work mostly from 11:30am-8:00pm, but candidates should have some flexibility to work other shifts.  Weekends and holidays are required.  Experience slicing meats and chesses for customers is a plus, but it is not required.  if you have a great customer service focus and are wiling to learn, we can teach you how to slice.
